A product studio photo session to highlight the packaging of Le Délicieux perfume from the Nejma brand.

The perfume brand Nejma asked me to do a studio product photo shoot for one of its flagship perfumes: Le Délicieux.

Artistic choice: what background color?

For this perfume whose colors are exclusively white and gold, it was decided to take the photos on two different background colors: white background and black background.

In particular to see which color will best enhance the perfume.

White background for purity

Sign of purity, I started by taking the shot using the white background.

I also took a picture of the box and the perfume bottle, then I took a picture of one of the two separately.

Black background for mystery

With the black background, you can also play easily with the levels of gray in order to bring more depth to the photo and give more character to the perfume.

I was able to play with the placement of the flashes in order to highlight the box and the perfume bottle more by placing the flash more or less close to the black background.
